In the Village, seasonal Associates can request accommodations in CQ or CPQ. The Crew Quarters, or CQ, is a three-story, non-smoking, open-ended dormitory with stairwells on each side. The rooms are furnished with dressers, a 32” flat screen television, open closets and a private bath. The rooms have two full-size beds and a limited number of rooms are furnished with a single full-size bed for either a couple or a single person. The weekly rate for a two person shared room is $75, and $150 if a single is requested. Microwaves or other cooking devices (hot plates, griddles, crock pots or electric skillets) are not permitted in the rooms. Two cup coffee makers and 2.5 cubic refrigerators are allowed and microwaves are provided in the hallway of each floor. Basic extended cable television is included as well as limited wireless internet.

The Crews Private Quarters, or CPQ, is an additional 120-bed living quarters. It is an enclosed three-story, elevator accessible, non-smoking building with 10 suites on each floor. Each suite consists of four private bedrooms furnished with twin xl captain’s beds, desk and chair, 32” flat screen television and full closet. The common area is furnished with a couch, chairs and coffee table along with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, sink, cabinets and an additional storage closet. Personal mini refrigerators and cooking devices (hot plates, griddles, crock pots or electric skillets) are not permitted. Basic extended cable television service (any alteration to this service is not an option) and limited wireless internet service are included. Cell phone service is available but no landline service. The suites are assigned to the same gender. The weekly rate in CPQ is $105. Associates with a specific suite mate request are encouraged to note it on their request form.

Linens are provided in both buildings (pillow, pillowcase, sheets and blanket/comforter).
Associates must provide their own bath towels. Pets or guests/residents under 18 years old are not permitted in either building.
Housing deposits are $300 and payroll deducted in $50 increments. Rent is pro-rated and also payroll deducted.

We are a non-smoking campus, which includes e-cigarettes. As a courtesy to Associates and their guests designated smoking areas are set up across from CQ and on the Wreck Hall patio after 6 pm. All other areas are non-smoking.

The Village offers several dining options. Meals are served in the Associate Café from 7am - 10am and 11am - 6pm. Our Associate lounge -- The Wreck Hall -- offers a menu starting at 6pm nightly and has several televisions, darts, pool tables, jukebox and an adjacent Quiet Room. This area offers four computers with free internet access, a printer, board games, a card table, television and an assortment of magazines and books. The Reef Hut, located at the base of the CQ building, specializes in hand-tossed pizza and grilled items. All of these food outlets offer indoor and outdoor dining and accept cash along with a payroll deduction food credit option. A 50% discount is offered to Associates on any Café item written in blue on the menu board. The $35 food credit available to hourly associates will be applied to your food account each pay period and reflected on your bi-weekly statement, if used. Any overages during this two week time frame will be payroll-deducted. The credits can be used for food in the Associate Café, Reef Hut and the Wreck Hall by going to Human Resources for a photo, ID and fob assignment. Prior to receiving your fob, cash is accepted at all outlets.The Village also offers a basketball court, volleyball court, a fitness center, 24 hour laundry facilities, swimming pool and outdoor grills. The laundry facilities are located at the base of CQ and on each floor of CPQ. Drink machines are located either in or by each building. Board games, court balls, bikes, mops/buckets and vacuums are available free of charge for check out from the Housing Office. A selection of cleaning products and bath towels are on sale.


To Obtain Housing
Seasonal Associates coming farther than 35 miles from Ocean Reef Club will receive a Housing Request Form with their employment offer letter. Associates submitting their request form with an advance deposit of $50 will have a room reserved for them; otherwise, rooms are assigned on a space available basis. Advance room deposits will be forfeited if cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to the Associate’s employment arrival date.

Before arriving at the Housing Office you are responsible for taking a drug test from an approved facility (test results must be received before you will be processed at Human Resources or Housing). Check-in at Housing can be completed after processing with Human Resources. You should make arrangements to arrive at Human Resources on the arrival date noted on your employment offer letter. Please plan accordingly; the Miami airport is approximately 50 miles from Ocean Reef Club and late arrivals must find overnight accommodations elsewhere (at your own expense), unless prior arrangements are made and approved by Human Resources. If traveling with someone who is not going to be employed with Ocean Reef Club or traveling with pets, you must make off property arrangements for their accommodations.

Year-round Associates can be offered Housing for a transitional time frame, pending availability. In January or once seasonal staffing needs have been established, a lease can be offered, not to exceed October 1 of the current year.
