Its two thousand lush tropical acres are bordered on three sides by water. The Club can be reached by land, sea and air.

ACCOUNTING
Payroll Manager
Responsible for the management and coordination of all payroll related activities for employees including the recording of their hours of work, processing time records, compiling payroll statistics, maintaining payroll control records, and calculating payrolls in compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws. Bachelor’s degree required. A minimum of six years of experience working in payroll for an organization with at least 500 employees or more. Two years of experience in a supervisory position in an organization is required. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.

Staff Accountant
Incumbent will supervise the day audit and accounts payable functions of Ocean Reef Club and provide excellent customer service to all Members and guests. Additionally he/she will prepare account reconciliations, recording of revenues, preparation of assigned tax returns, and cash management. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Two to four years of accounting experience, preferably in the club/resort industry preferred. Proficient in the use of MS Excel, and MS Access, MS Word, Crystal Reports, Abacus and Visual One or similar software preferred; must be organized and able to meet deadlines. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate effectively.

BELL STAND
Overnight Bell Captain
Must be an energetic, detail-oriented individual willing to work a flexible schedule to provide excellent Member/guest service while providing all Bell Stand/Transportation functions and supporting off property transportation needs for Members/guests and Conference Groups daily. Must have a valid driver’s license. Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal, is required in order to provide guidance and understand job assignments.

CAPITAL PROJECTS
Director of Construction & Project Management
Responsible for leading and managing the Capital Projects Department in the planning, scheduling and execution of a variety of contracts. Will oversee and manage design and construction activities performed by contractors, from planning through bidding and manage design and construction activities performed by contractors, from planning through bidding and completion. Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction or architecture from an accredited college or university and five to seven years of experience in construction inspection, supervision or engineering. Master's Degree preferred. A minimum of five years of supervisory experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and at least 10 years of the aforementioned experience will be considered.

CULINARY 
Cook I
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Four years' (hands-on) experience as a cook in a la carte continental restaurant preferred. Advanced knowledge in basic food and labor cost knowledge required. Must be certified by the American Culinary Federation as a cook. A state food handler certification and knowledge of CPR and/or First Aid is preferred. Physical demands require being able to carry up to 50 lbs. and being able to stand for long periods with minimum walking. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively in order to communicate with coworkers and fully understand job assignments.

Cook II
Three years' (hands-on) experience as an apprentice or Cook III in a la carte continental restaurant preferred. Knowledge of basic food cost. Must be certified by the American Culinary Federation as a cook. A state food handler certification and knowledge of CPR and/or First Aid is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively in order to communicate with coworkers and fully understand job assignments. 

Overnight Baker
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to work independently. A state food handler certification and knowledge of CPR and/or First Aid is preferred. Physical demands require being able to carry up to 50lbs. and being able to stand for long periods of time with minimum walking. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively in order to communicate with co-workers and fully understand job assignments. 

Sous Chef
A minimum of five years prior experience as a Sous Chef: in a private club, hotel restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in multiple outlets, and in a high volume bakeshop/pastry shop. A serve safe food sanitation certification or similar food sanitation course certification is required. Must be AFC certified, CEPC, CWPC, CCE, CMPC or certifiable. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively in order to communicate with co-workers and fully understand job assignments.

ENGINEERING 
Manager
Will manage Engineering Department, resources and associates; efficiently solving all Member, facilities and outlet issues in a quick seamless matter. This position will actively contribute on all preventative maintenance programs for front and back of the house. Responsible to review and assign daily work for Engineering associates. It requires considerable knowledge of a wide variety of maintenance trades: basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical experience are used frequently on the job. A minimum of 10 years’ supervisory experience required working in Inn Rooms Maintenance in a resort/hotel. Must have excellent English communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to express and exchange ideas and convey detailed and/or important instructions accurately, loudly and/or quickly. Valid driver’s license required with clean driving record. Must be well versed in all OSHA, EPA and ADA rules and regulations.

Pool Mechanic
High school diploma or equivalent required. Five years of equivalent experience providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position. Being an aquatic facility operator, AFO, CPO is a plus. Should have experience in maintaining and balancing pool chemicals, good knowledge in preventative maintenance procedures with the ability to maintain records. The ability to work in excessive heat is a plus. Must have the ability to follow instructions, able to comprehend the English language and demonstrate the ability to express and exchange ideas through oral and written communication and convey detailed and/or important instructions accurately, loudly and/or quickly.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
Server
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. A minimum of two years’ service experience in a club or hotel facility preferred. Knowledge of beverage and liquor experience preferred. Must have the ability to read and speak the English language to fully comprehend guests' requests, order tickets, menu items, and fully understand job assignments.

PM Reef Treats Supervisor
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous supervisory experience required. Must be outgoing and able to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent customer service skills. Candidate must have basic computer knowledge and a flexible schedule. Must possess excellent English communication skills in order to communicate with co-workers, Members and guests and fully understand job assignments.

HOUSEKEEPING
House Person
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Must be able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, stand and walk continuously. Lifting may include equipment, linen, supplies or furniture weighing up to 100 lbs. Must be well organized and detail oriented. Good English communication required in order to communicate well with Members, guests and fully understand job assignments.

Turndown Attendant
To provide turndown service, deliveries and prepare supplies for the AM Room Attendants. High school or equivalent preferred, previous housekeeping experience a plus; must be able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, walk and climb stairs. A valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Must have the ability to pull heavy equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.; must be able to use a variety of cleaning agents. The ability to effectively communicate with members/guests, associates and management.

Manager (Vacation Rentals)
Will supervise and provide leadership for VR Housekeeping to achieve the highest levels of Member/Guest satisfaction, quality service and compliance with ORC Policies, job standards and procedures. Will be responsible for assisting with the short-term planning and day-to-day operations of the department. Minimum of five years housekeeping supervisory experience in a hospitality-oriented facility such as a club, resort or hotel. Must be well organized, self-motivated and detailed oriented. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Excellent English communication skills are required in order to communicate with members, guests and co-workers and fully understand job assignments. Knowledge of another language is desirable .

Supervisor
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of six months supervisory experience or one year of comparable housekeeping experience preferred. One year of hotel/resort experience. Must be well organized, self-motivated and detail oriented. Excellent English communication skills are required in order to communicate with Members, guests and co-workers and fully understand job assignments. Knowledge of another language is desirable. 

MARINA
Attendant
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have one to three years’ experience at a marina facility. Candidate will assist yachts arriving and departing; fueling operations; holding tank waste pump out; handling of VHF radio and telephone. Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. A flexible schedule is necessary. Excellent English communication skills are required in order to effectively communicate with Members, guests and co-workers. 

MEMBERSHIP
Member Guest Development
High school or college diploma preferred. To provide the ultimate experience in Club hospitality through personal service. Exceptional written and verbal skills required. The ability to handle heavy call volume and multi task. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to present sound judgment while dealing with sensitive or difficult situations. 

OCEAN REEF PRESS
Layout & Production Artist
Our weekly community paper is looking for a layout/production artist. Must have the ability to design appealing layouts that will vary from week to week. Must be quick, efficient, skilled in design software and able to successfully juggle requests, edits and timelines. There is opportunity to be creative, sophisticated and innovative while balancing the community's existing look and feel. Organization, attention to detail and productive time management are keys to success. Qualifications include experience working at a newspaper or design agency, graphic design experience required, Adobe Creative Suite with particular focus on Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator required, prepress and file prep experience is required, attention to detail, eye for typography, composition and layout. Photography interest a plus.

RESERVATIONS
Agents
Will sell the Club and the amenities by maintaining the highest standards in assisting Members and guests. High school education or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a private club, large hotel, or resort is a plus. Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional work area. Typing skills are required and basic computer knowledge preferred to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or Visual One. Flexible schedule is required. Excellent English communication skills required in order to communicate well with all Members, guests and associates.

VACATION RENTALS
Property Liaison
Provides support to Vacation Rentals with duties to include inspection and/or evaluation of properties in rental program and other office duties relating to the daily operations of the Vacation Rental Department. High school diploma or any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Minimum three years general office experience in a hospitality oriented enterprise or property management/real estate enterprise. Must have the ability to speak and write grammatically correct English. Must be extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
