Growing up in Miami, Capt. Frank spent a lot of time fishing in Key Largo. After high school, he got a job on a charter boat where he learned everything from kite fishing for Sailfish to trolling the reef for Grouper. In 2003, Capt. Frank moved to Key Largo where he continued working as captain and mate fishing the Bahamas on private boats to local charters and even commercial fishing for Swordfish, Amberjack and live bait. He has been a USCG licensed captain for 15 years and is currently the captain of the Mr. Nice.

Growing up on the water in the 1950’s & 60’s in South Florida gave Captain Richard Hoog the knowledge and experience to make a living doing what he loves, fishing. Captain Richard joined the Charter dock in 2000 and quickly became a highly requested boat. Captain Richard was a commercial yellowtail snapper fisherman, so he is able to take you out in search of the schools of tasty snapper that are so plentiful on the edge of the reef. His boat, “Good Life,” a custom 47’ Hoog, was built by Richard and his brother and is perfect for families with children.
