Join Reef Club Kids each week as they take their campers on a trip to outer space, solve a mystery ‘whodunit’ scavenger hunt or through the jungles of the Amazon… don’t worry, no permission slip needed! Every week is a whole new world to explore, masterminded by the Recreation camp counselors. Days will consist of adventures around The Reef, messy games at the beach, cannonballs into the pool… maybe even a backyard slip and slide? With no two days (or weeks) being the same, campers are sure to experience it all!

Sailing Camp
It’s time to seas the day! Come sail away with us as campers embark on an epic weeklong journey, packed with nautical adventures and interactive instruction. Whether brushing up on techniques or learning the fundamentals, sailors will focus on mastering skills with the help of Ocean Reef’s seasoned sailing counselors. Each week of camp utilizes three different sailing vessels, culminating with a thrilling regatta full of cheering friends and families as spectators. Field & Fitness Camp
This active offering will engage campers in new sports, workouts, activities and challenges, while encouraging teamwork and good sportsmanship. Each day we will challenge the campers to games such as basketball, soccer, whiffle ball, capture the flag, obstacle courses and more! Campers will utilize Ocean Reef Club areas such as mini golf, Buccaneer Island, Tennis & Games Center, and the Field at Four Corners to get active, learn new skills, and work up a sweat.

Reef Discovery
Join us for an exciting week filled with Florida Keys adventures! Reef Discovery Camp offers participants daily off-property excursions to some of the most popular activities in the area. Campers can look forward to parasailing, wakeboarding, snorkeling, exploring John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, and cruising around the Everglades Alligator Farm on an airboat! Should we experience some rainy weather, don’t fret! We have alternative options such as bowling, archery battles, or visiting Shell World.

Marine Lab
Live out your Marine Biologist dream! Campers join the marine scientists from MarineLab in Key Largo for an introduction into the local marine ecosystems. We’ll learn about everything from seagrass to coral reefs, fish identification and how to take water samples through hands-on experiences and field observations. Part of the week will be spent at MarineLab’s education center in Key Largo, including several snorkeling excursions putting campers face-to-face with all kinds of marine life and eco-systems.

Chef for a Week
Live the life of an Ocean Reef Chef-in-Training! Join the Carysfort Kitchen chefs as they create recipes from around the world, maybe even your favorite! Eco-Reef Camp
In this camp, students will be immersed in marine conservation field education. Divers and snorkelers will learn the most common conservation practices used throughout the Florida Keys, the importance of coral restoration, and will see firsthand the coral nurseries dedicated to raising young corals in hopes of returning them to the reef. Students will also be assisting the REEF foundation in local fish identification. The goal of the dive camp is to create marine ocean stewards with a newfound love for their ocean.

Can you cook your way to the top? Prove it! Adding more heat to the fire, chefs will take their culinary experience and put it to the test with an “Iron Chef” spin! With more complex recipes and techniques during the week, chefs will have the opportunity to create out-of-the-box dishes alongside the best Chefs of The Reef. Safe Boating Camp
This educational camp is designed to teach campers how to safely operate a power boat, navigate the local waters, learn boat docking and line skills, and understand the “rules of the road”. Taught by USCG Auxiliary Public Education instructors from the Ocean Reef Flotilla, this camp will feature morning classroom sessions, followed by afternoons onboard a boat getting hands-on training in the Ocean Reef Marina and surrounding waters. Upon completion of this course, each Florida resident will receive a Florida State Boating Card. All students will receive a certificate of completion approved by NASBLA and the USCG Auxiliary.

Equestrian Camp
Always a summer favorite, saddle up for a week of riding, galloping and cantering!
