From Scarlett O’Hara’s “Tara,” Nora Desmond’s “Sunset Boulevard,” Rick’s Place in “Casablanca” and Citizen Kane’s “Xanadu,” the cinema is the home to the world’s most memorable images. In “Designs on Film: A Century of Hollywood Art Direction,” Cathy Whitlock, international speaker, writer, and panel moderator on set and interior design, pays homage to these architects of illusion and presents a behind the scenes look at how movies are made from the cinema’s humble beginnings to present-day films.

Don’t miss this comprehensive presentation, sponsored jointly by the Keys Searchers, Choose and Cherish, Reef Seekers Questers Groups and the Ocean Reef Art League. The community is invited and welcome!
