After sampling various tequilas together for months, friends and Casamigos co-founders George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman commissioned a distillery in Jalisco, Mexico to make them their own tequila – one that “tasted great and didn’t burn going down.” Casamigos, translating to “house of friends,” was born in 2013 and quickly became one of the fastest-growing tequila brands in the world.
Casamigos’ ultra-premium small batch tequila is aged and barreled, using old brick ovens and Blue Weber Agaves grown for seven to nine years. Distilled at Mexico’s Productos Finos de Agave distillery, Casamigos Tequila boasts a smooth finish and flavor profile that can be enjoyed straight or on the rocks without having to be covered up by salt or a lime.
