Access to Buccaneer Island including the beach area and pools will re-open on June 1st to Members only. Please bring your Membership Cards as we will have our Membership Team there to welcome everyone back to Buccaneer Island and answer any questions. Buccaneer Island will be open daily from 9am – 7pm. After 7pm, the pools will close and we will clear the areas for proper cleaning and sanitation. The Hot Tub will remain closed until further notice.
This is a perfect spot at the Club to enjoy a refreshing libation while soaking up some of our famous Florida Keys sunshine. For simply relaxing, there are chaise lounges and umbrellas by the pools. Cabana rentals are available through the pool desk and include chairs, towels and bottled water.
Buccaneer Island is also the Club’s hub for aquatic sports activities. Get out on the lagoon or ocean in a rental watercraft. Our rental fleet includes sailboats, kayaks, windsurfers, stand-up paddleboards, and more. Whether it’s one of the two pools, the ocean or our enclosed beachfront lagoon, Buccaneer Island is all about fun on the water.
SCUBA diving, the ultimate underwater adventure, is available for certified divers. However,
for guests who are uninitiated in SCUBA diving and wish to experience it, a one-day “Resort”
SCUBA experience is available.
The Dive Shop at Ocean Reef (an independent service provider), located in the Fishing Village, offers certification in SCUBA diving, equipment sales and rentals, SCUBA dive trips and family snorkeling trips on the only living coral reef in the continental United States.
To further explore the deep, snorkeling is available. It is an easily mastered and highly enjoyable sport that creates memories that will last forever. All necessary equipment is available, as well as expert instruction.
For assistance in reserving your snorkeling or dive trip, please call 305-367-3051 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Our popular eco-kayak and SUP tour is offered each Saturday and Sunday morning. These laid-back trips
begin from Buccaneer Island and will take you through mangroves, past bird rookeries and
leave you speechless as you can see clearly to the bottom of the sea floor.
Offered are both advanced as well as beginner trips, during which you’ll be taught the basics of
kayaking and paddleboaring in our introduction to kayaking and SUP class. Children can paddle with their parents in a
double kayak, so the entire family is welcome to enjoy our scenic waters and surrounds.
