She states, “I feel like I form a relationship with my patients, mainly because they are awake when I operate on them and I have active discussions with them through-out the day. We call it talk-stesia, so it helps them relax. I feel like I get to know them as a person, and they get to know me as a person.” Regarding Dr. Vidimos’s research, she states, “I am the principal investigator for a new Redcap database at Cleveland Clinic for cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas. We are analyzing clinical data and outcomes on over 3,000 patients to better stratify risk factors for squamous cell carcinomas and improve staging, preoperative evaluation and treatment outcomes for our patients.”

Dr. Vidimos has co-authored 2 textbooks and over 50 articles and has participated in medical mission trips to Honduras for the past 11 years.

The Medical Center extends their appreciation to Healthnetworks Foundation for sponsoring Dr. Vidimos’s lecture.
