captured in 2008. At the core of the wild terrain is steep, rugged topography,
creating conditions for an exotic winegrowing environment. This dramatic
landscape is reflected in Promontory’s wines – the native forests, moisture of the
ephemeral fog, and geologic minerality – creating a natural balance of freshness,
energy and tannin that Promontory believes is vital in great winemaking.
