Michael first came to the Ocean Reef Club in the Winter Season of 2014 to work as one of our PGA Professionals. He has quickly worked his way through the ranks in the Ocean Reef Club Golf Department and was promoted to Head Golf Professional in January 2017 and Director of Golf in 2020. Michael is very familiar with Florida golf growing up in Boynton Beach and competed in junior golf against now PGA Tour Stars Brooks Koepka and Billy Horschel.

Michael always had a passion for golf and went to Florida Gulf Coast University to attend their PGM Program and acquire his Class “A” PGA Professional Title. While attending FGCU, Michael dual majored and finished his Bachelor’s in Resort & Hospitality Management.

After graduation, Michael moved back to the East Coast of Florida to work as the First Assistant at the Jim McLean Golf School at Doral. Michael greatly enjoyed the experience and knowledge he developed working around some of the top teachers, club fitters and biodynamic experts in the game of golf. Michael also worked as the First Assistant for three summer seasons at Huntington Crescent Club on Long Island and most recently one summer season at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD.

Michael is extremely excited to be the Director of Golf at Ocean Reef Club and really looks forward to providing great service for the Membership and building strong relationships with all Members and their guests.
